Mandatory Training

The Commonwealth of Virginia requires that all full-time and part-time employees complete certain training.  The required courses are:

Training topics are developed and prioritized based on interviews with supervisors, a training survey administered to all employees and focus groups of employees with similar job responsibilities. The focus is currently policy and procedure. The program will expand as needs and interests change. Some topics will be 'piloted' before being open to all of post. If you would like to participate in a pilot group, please let us know.

Contact us at 540-464-7322 or sporerb@vmi.edu with suggestions for training topics, inclusion in a focus or pilot group, department specific training, or if you'd like to present a topic yourself.
