2014-02-20, 1000 hours - External Phone Services Outage
Information Technology scheduled a firewall upgrade yesterday, February 19th in the evening which affected off-Post phone and email services. The upgrade was successful; however, an unrelated hardware failure occurred at approximately 1730 hours which disrupted all off-Post phone services until approximately 1900 hours. Off-Post calls could not be made or received during this time. The issue was resolved and all services restored.
If you should experience a Post-wide outage after normal business hours, please call the Help Desk at 7643 and follow the instructions provided for reporting an urgent issue. This will send a page to the administrator on call.
