VMI MUSEUM SYSTEM:

200 years of History and Tradition.

Since 1839, VMI has helped mold the history of America through the amazing civilian and military careers of its alumni. From the mounted hide of “Little Sorrel,” Stonewall Jackson’s favorite horse, to the seven Medals of Honor awarded to VMI alumni, the museum chronicles the story of America’s first state-supported military college.
