LEXINGTON, Va. Aug. 25, 2024 — Over the summer, improvements and upgrades have been made to the Post Exchange (PX). Menu items from two new Parkhurst Dining brands are available: Cinco, which offers a Tex-Mex menu, and Grill 1839, which offers classic grill items. Corner Mercantile Express continues to sell sandwiches, and Starbucks maintains the coffee concession.

Kiosks have been installed in the center of the food court to ease the process of ordering and paying. While one manned register remains at the Starbucks counter, the use of kiosks will free PX staff to focus on food preparation, speeding up the process and decreasing wait time.

In addition, Click-It Kitchen, a mobile ordering app specific for the PX, is available to download for free. According to Tracy Hiner, resident general manager of dining services, an account may be created on the app by following the prompts.

“You create a username and password, select ‘choose café,’ enter the registration code 780000, select VMI as the site, agree to terms and begin ordering. It is easy to use and simplifies the ordering process,” he explained. The app is available to cadets, faculty, staff, and guests on post.
