Security Awareness

In accordance with state law, VMI requires anyone who uses its network to complete its Security Awareness Training within thirty days of being granted access to the network, and again on an annual basis after that. For a link to VMI’s annual security awareness training, click here.

Security awareness is an initiative designed to inform the user community about the importance of adequately securing their data. It teaches the users to be responsible for their own data, and it advises them on some best practices for securing their workstation from potential intruders.
