Moeckel3On Wednesday, October 21, poet Thorpe Moeckel read his work to an audience of VMI cadets and faculty. Moeckel is the author of four books of poetry, the newest of which is Arcadia Road, and a new book of essays, Watershed Days. He is an associate professor of English at Hollins University and the director of the Jackson Center for Creative Writing. After the reading, he participated in a Q&A session with cadets from the Poetry workshop and signed copies of his new books.
