It is a damp, dark and dreary night. The ground is muddy and puddles of water are everywhere. It is Sunday evening after the Battle of New Market, May 15, 1864 and the sights, sounds and smells of the battlefield are all around you when suddenly you . . .
Travel back in time and walk in the footsteps of the Union and Confederate soldiers and the Bushong family on the New Market Battlefield. Experience the tales of the Virginia Military Institute Cadets as the recount the day’s events. Costumed interpreters will share spine tingling stories through historical interpretation as they portray.
Tickets: $10.00 per person, $5.00 youth 6 years to 12 years; 5 years old and under, free.
Tickets may be purchased at the Virginia Museum of the Civil War, NMBSHP, on the day of the event.
