Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a powerful online survey tool available to VMI faculty, staff, and students for VMI-related projects. Qualtrics allows you to build complex surveys that fulfill a variety of research needs. You can use this tool to build surveys, distribute surveys, and analyze responses from any device connected to the internet.
To use Qualtrics you must first set up an account.
To set up your account, login to Qualtrics using your VMI credentials (do not include the @vmi.edu in your email username) and follow the prompts.
Select the option “I do not have a Qualtrics account” and click “Agree” to the user terms. Once you do this, you will be able to login by simply clicking the login button on this page or by accessing the VMI control panel link.

Option 1: Visit Qualtrics Online Qualtrics Support Site
Option 2: Use the “Help and Feedback” option on the menu bar in the top right corner of every Qualtrics screen.
Option 3: Submit a ticket to Qualtrics Support to address your issue. To do so, follow these steps:
- Go to the Qualtrics Log-in screen
- Click “Sign in with SSO”
- Type “VMI” as the Organization ID and click “Continue”
- Login using your VMI credentials excluding the @vmi.edu in the username (i.e. marshalldr)
- Follow prompts and questions to submit a ticket
If you are having struggles logging in, follow these steps:
- Go to the Qualtrics Log-in screen
- Click “Can’t log in or don’t have an account”
- Follow the prompts to submit a ticket
