Cadets Gain Exclusive Leadership Insights at AFA Airpower Symposium
HAMPTON, Va. Dec. 6, 2024 — Detachment 880 cadets had the rare opportunity to meet and engage with General Charles Q. Wilsbach, the Commander of Air Combat Command (ACC), and Chief Master Sergeant David Wolfe, Command Chief ACC.
Cadets were selected to attend the AFA Airpower Symposium at Langley Air Force Base, in Hampton, Virginia where they received unparalleled insight into the technological and tactical contributions of ACC to the Department of the Air Force and other service branches.
Wilsbach and Wolfe provided insight into the leadership and operational responsibilities associated with one of the U.S. Air Force's most vital commands.
As the Commander of Air Combat Command, General Wilsbach oversees a significant portion of the Air Force’s combat airpower, including fighter aircraft, bombers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance assets, as well as training and readiness initiatives.
