The 2023 United States Intercollegiate Boxing Association (USIBA) National Tournament will be held in Cocke Hall at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia on Thursday, March 23 through Saturday, March 25.
The USIBA is the premier college boxing governing body in the country. It was formed in 2012 by college students and boxing coaches as a safe, competitive, and exciting league for their teams. USIBA was a pioneer in co-ed intercollegiate club sports, being the first to introduce a women’s boxing championship.
In addition to VMI who won the male championship last year, colleges planning to compete in the tournament include Florida A&M University; Georgia Tech; Glenville State University; Grand Valley State University; University of Illinois; University of Maryland; University of Michigan; Middle Tennessee State University; Morgan State University; Syracuse University; University of Tennessee; Towson University; Texas Southern University; University of Houston; University of California, Riverside; University of California, Santa Cruz; University of Texas Rio Grande Valley; Western Colorado University; and Xavier University.
Tickets for the quarterfinals and semifinals are $10, and final tickets are $15. Tickets for all three nights are $25. Kids 5 and under $5.
Tickets may be purchased at the door, cash only. There are two ATM machines located on VMI's post (campus). One is in Lejeune Hall Food Court and the second one is located in Daniel's Courtyard.
