Thursday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m., Memorial Hall

Commencement is the culmination of four years of study at the Institute. The walk across the stage during this ceremony is a moment every graduate remembers.

Anticipate heavy traffic. In the event of inclement weather, alternate parking may be necessary. Check the website for alerts or additional information.

Shuttle service will run continuously across post from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and following the ceremony.

Memorial Hall will open at 9:30 a.m. Arrive in time to be seated by 10:45 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Due to space constraints and security reasons, coolers, backpacks, and baskets are not allowed at any of the VMI ceremonies. Strollers must be able to be folded and out of the aisles. All carry-in items are subject to search at the door.

Tickets are not required for this event. 

There will be a light reception in Memorial Hall Museum Floor following the ceremony.
