There are three regular meetings of the Board each year. Specific dates for regular meetings are set by the Secretary of the Board upon consultation with, and the concurrence of, the President of the Board and the Superintendent. The Board’s last regular meeting of the academic year is designated as its Annual Meeting.

Special meetings of the Board may be called by the President of the Board, the Superintendent, by a majority vote of the Executive Committee, or by the request of a majority of the members of the Board.

Agenda for 14 NOV 2024 Meeting

The Virginia Military Institute Board of Visitors Audit, Finance, and Planning Committee is conducting an in-person meeting on Thursday, November 14, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. in Smith Hall on post at VMI. VMI business will be discussed by participating members.

There will be no public comment at this meeting, however, the meeting is open to the public. Written comments may be submitted to BOVSecretary@vmi.edu. Written comments received by close of business on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, will be distributed to members of the committee in advance of the meeting.
