There are three regular meetings of the Board each year. Specific dates for regular meetings are set by the Secretary of the Board upon consultation with, and the concurrence of, the President of the Board and the Superintendent. The Board’s last regular meeting of the academic year is designated as its Annual Meeting.

Special meetings of the Board may be called by the President of the Board, the Superintendent, by a majority vote of the Executive Committee, or by the request of a majority of the members of the Board.

The Virginia Military Institute Board of Visitors is conducting meetings on Feb. 6 - 8, 2025, during the times indicated on the meeting schedule posted in the Upcoming Meetings section of the VMI Board of Visitors website. All meetings will be held at various locations throughout the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. in accordance with the meeting schedule. Virginia Military Institute business will be discussed by the members in attendance. The meetings are open to the public.

Public Comment: There will be no opportunity for public comment at this meeting. However, any written comments submitted to the Board of Visitors secretary before Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at 5 p.m. will be distributed to each member of the Board of Visitors for their consideration prior to the board meeting.
